The tour itinerary:
B=breakfast, L=lunch, D=dinner, N=overnight
Day01 Chengdu/Beijing/Shanghai/Xian/Chongqin/Kunming flight to Lhasa
  Lhasa airport picking up, have a good rest in the afternoon. Overnight at Lhasa.

Day02  Lhasa sightseeing(B + L + D)
   Visit Potola Palace, Johkang temple, and Barkor Market. Overnight at Lhasa.

Day03 Lhasa/Tsurphu Monastery/Yangbache hot-spring/Lhasa (B + L + D)
   Drive about 70km west of Lhasa to Tsurphu Monastery, which is the seat of the Karmapa branch of the Kagyupa order of Tibetan Buddhism. Tsurphu Monastery is set in a valley. If you are acclimatised the altitude, you can do the Tsurphu Kora. It winds up some 150m,providing splendid views of Tsurphu below. Afternoon drive to Yangbachen to have hot-spring. Overnight at Lhasa .
 
Day04  Lhasa/Yamdrok lake/Shigatse/Lhatse (B + L + D)
   Up to Kambala pass which is 4794m high, you will have a glimpse of Yamdrok-tso there. It is one of the three holy lakes in Tibet. Then drive back to Chushul, along Nepal friendship way to Shigatse, visit Tashilunpo Monastery and the spectacular tombs of Panchen Lamas in the afternoon. Overnight at Lhatse.
 
Day05  Lhatse/ New Tinggri (Shegar)/ Rongphu Monastery / E.B.C (B + L)
   Early morning start driving to Rongphu via Shegar, some parts of the road is with constructions. On the way you will cross over Gyatsola Pass at 5,220m, which is the highest enroute, and from the pass you will see the Himalaya mountain ranges in a clear day.   Rongphu is the highest monastery in Tibet, still a good point to see Mt.Everst. Afternoon start trekking from Rongphu to E.B.C, it takes about 2 hours. Or you can take animal carriage ( 30rmb/per person,round-trip). Overnight at Rongphu guest house.(dorm beds)
Note: The entrance fee of Mt. Everest Base Camp is 65rmb/per person. Then Entry fee of the Landcruiser to E.B.C. is 405rmb. It is a bit cold to stay at Rongphu, so you'd better to take your sleeping bag with you.
  
Day06 Rongphu/ Shegar/Shigatse  (B + L + D)
   If you are lucky enough, you will see sunrise at E.B.C.. About noon time, start driving back to Shigatse. Overnight at Shigatse.

Day07 Shigatse / Gyantse / Lhasa  (B + L + D)
   After breakfast, drive to Gyantse, only 90km from Shigatse. You will visit the famous stupa - Gyantse Kumpum, the most stunning architectural wonder in Tibet. Afternoon drive back to Lhasa along the friendship way. Overnight at Lhasa.
 
Day08  Lhasa airport dropping off
   Morning Airport dropping off, end the trip.
